Mohammad Namazi (also known as Mohammad Nemazee) was the founder of Namazi Hospital which he founded in 1955 and the first Water pipe system in Iran Shiraz Water and Wastewater Company in Shiraz, Iran. He donated the company's income to the hospital. He also made Namazi Nursing School, Namazi Children's Orphanage, and Namazi Art School He was born in Bombay (officially renamed Mumbai in November 1995), in 1896. He was a successful merchant who lived in the USA for many years, and died in Shiraz on 9th April 1972.
