Summary:Many construction industries that use composite materials do not have any guideline on the properties and the strength of the composite materials. That results in difficulties to achieve the designed specification of a construction. This research work explores the relationship between thickness of the composite materials and its flexural strength. The objective is to analyze the influence of thickness on composite strength. The specific properties studied under this project are thickness of a tube at different diameters by keeping others properties such as composition of fibreglass and resin constant. The fibreglass tube is tested using three point bending test machine. At the end of the study, it is found that composite materials have elasticity properties before its fails like brittle materials.
