Summary:The economic impact of tourism has long been interest to academics and policy makers. The effects of tourism taxation are likewise of considerable interest, but have been comprehensively modeled using applied economic analysis. This paper uses a multiple regression model to analyses the effect of tourism in Malaysia for 20 years. The dependent variable for this paper is GDP (Gross Domestic Product) while the independent variables are foreign direct investment (FDI), unemployment and foreign exchange (FOREX). Data will gather from various sources such as Bank Negara Malaysia and Malaysian Economic Report.
