While more countries made them part of their export strategy, studies criticized their efficacy in developing countries. EPAs were retooled, partly in response to these critiques. Our identification strategies highlight the importance of EPA services for overcoming foreign trade barriers and solving asymmetric information problems associated with exports of heterogeneous goods. There are also strong diminishing returns, suggesting that as far as EPAs are concerned, small is beautiful. 2012-03-30T07:29:10Z 2012-03-30T07:29:10Z 2010 Journal Article Journal of Development Economics 03043878 http://hdl.handle.net/10986/4670 EN http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/igo World Bank Journal Article
