Summary:Jim Yong Kim, President of the World Bank Group, answered media questions at the 2017 Spring Meetings Press Conference 2017. He discuss the global economy. He mentioned that the bank faces several overlapping crises, both natural and man-made, all of which add urgency to the mission. He estimated that two-thirds of all jobs that currently exist in developing countries will be wiped out by automation. He seeks new and innovative ways to reach the poor, and make the world more secure and stable. He starts to address a problem by by asking whether the private sector can finance a project.
