It benefits from the international experience of the World Bank, which has provided assistance to several countries on the design and implementation ofsovereign disaster risk financing strategies (e.g. Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Pakistan and the Caribbean island states).
