Since publication of the World Bank’s “Improving Nutrition Through Multisectoral Approaches” in 2013, numerous development partners have explored the mutual synchronicities between social protection and nutrition and the levers (e.g. conditionality, targeting, payment beneficiary and frequency, etc.) that can be manipulated in order to enhance impact on nutrition outcomes. The three Series’ documents – an Evidence Review, a suite of Case Studies, and a Global Forum Report – build on this continued line of operational research. Collectively, the documents are an attempt to establish a snapshot of current nutrition-sensitive social protection approaches, explore in more detail how these programs are being implemented, and outline areas of future operational research. This series is an extension of the Global Forum on Nutrition-Sensitive Social Protection Programs held in Moscow in September 2015. Recordings from past learning seminars on the same topic are hosted by SecureNutrition: www.securenutrition.org. 2016-10-26T17:54:32Z 2016-10-26T17:54:32Z 2016-10-05 Working Paper http://hdl.handle.net/10986/25275 English en_US CC BY 3.0 IGO http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/igo/ World Bank World Bank, Washington, DC Publications & Research Publications & Research :: Working Paper Africa East Asia and Pacific Europe and Central Asia Latin America & Caribbean Middle East and North Africa South Asia |
