He believes that assuring growth is inclusive is both a moral imperative and a crucial condition for sustained economic development for any country. The World Bank Group is now working on a revamped strategy to significantly strengthen our climate change interventions and help catalyze urgent action among global partners on the scale required. Progress is never inevitable. He concludes by saying that if we act today, if we work relentlessly toward these goals of ending extreme poverty and boosting shared prosperity, we have the opportunity to create a world for our children which is defined not by stark inequities but by soaring opportunities. 2016-05-25T17:14:05Z 2016-05-25T17:14:05Z 2013-04-02 Speech http://documents.worldbank.org/curated/en/2016/02/25864770/within-grasp-world-free-poverty-world-bank-group-president-jim-yong-kim’s-speech-georgetown-university http://hdl.handle.net/10986/24351 English en_US Speech at Georgetown University, Washington, D.C., April 2, 2013; CC BY 3.0 IGO http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/igo/ World Bank Speech United States
