Coordinated by the Nile Basin Initiative (NBI), this program has successfully built trust, strengthened capacity, and created an enabling environment for sustainable and equitable development of the Nile Basin water resources. Transboundary cooperation has advanced regional integration through identifying and developing joint investments.
