It also is a discussion paper exploring alternative ways to promote solar electricity. The project was meant to develop the market for solar electricity and to help non-electrified households attain higher comfort levels without waiting for the electricity company to expand its distribution network. The outcome of the project showed that large projects were not necessary to begin developing the market for solar equipment. 2014-09-30T21:06:27Z 2014-09-30T21:06:27Z 2000-07 http://documents.worldbank.org/curated/en/2000/07/729127/search-better-ways-develop-solar-markets-case-comorros http://hdl.handle.net/10986/20320 English en_US Energy Sector Management Assistance Programme (ESMAP);no.
