The authors are undertaking this learning process to enable policy-makers to make evidence-based decisions and to enable the implementation of large-scale programs. Key outcomes of the learning will be knowledge products that can be used both for advocacy and for putting into action cost-effective approaches and tools to ease replication. The learning in this project will benefit not only current stakeholders but also future stakeholders interested in and committed to promoting effective handwashing behavior-change programs.
