The Big Numbers Project, a collaborative effort by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), WorldFish Center and World Bank, addresses the lack of accurate and accessible disaggregated information on small and large-scale fisheries, in inland and marine waters, currently experienced in the international fisheries arena. This is a preliminary report of the project, giving a summary of the results of case studies carried out in a selected number of countries and providing a first analysis of the differences between marine and inland small and large-scale fisheries in developing countries. 2014-01-30T20:33:20Z 2014-01-30T20:33:20Z 2008-09-01 http://documents.worldbank.org/curated/en/2008/09/18613098/small-scale-capture-fisheries-global-overview-emphasis-developing-countries http://hdl.handle.net/10986/16752 English en_US CC BY 3.0 IGO http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/igo/ World Bank World Bank, Washington, DC Economic & Sector Work :: Other Agricultural Study Economic & Sector Work |
