It seeks to provide a framework for multisectoral strategic action to reduce behaviors that risk spreading HIV, to care for and support those who become infected, and to diminish vulnerability among specific segments of society. Although most evidence suggests that overall HIV prevalence is low in the region, greater investments in improved surveillance, and care needed now-to maintain low prevalence levels and preserve the focus on national and regional development goals. 2013-08-14T21:04:00Z 2013-08-14T21:04:00Z 2003 http://documents.worldbank.org/curated/en/2003/09/2542625/hivaids-middle-east-north-africa-costs-inaction 0-8213-5578-3 http://hdl.handle.net/10986/15089 English en_US Orientations in Development; CC BY 3.0 IGO http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/igo World Bank Washington, DC: World Bank Publications & Research :: Publication Publications & Research :: Publication Middle East and North Africa North Africa Middle East
