Description
Summary:Doing Business investigates the scope and manner of regulations that encourage business activity and those that constrain it. The indicators cover four areas of business regulation and their enforcement: starting a business, registering property, getting credit (registering collateral) and enforcing contracts. These indicators were selected because they cover areas of state and municipal jurisdiction. The indicators are used to analyze the economic outcomes of the regulations and to identify what reforms have been successful, where and why.
