Ghana is in the process of finalizing its ICTs in education policy, due to be ready by the end of the first quarter of 2007. Despite the uncoordinated approach to policy in the past, significant progress has been made in increasing access to and usage of ICTs in the education sector. The tertiary sector is the most advanced in ICT deployment, followed by the secondary and primary/basic education sectors respectively. Overall there is much optimism for huge advances once the policy implementation begins. 2012-08-13T12:49:06Z 2012-08-13T12:49:06Z 2007-04 http://documents.worldbank.org/curated/en/2007/04/10014618/survey-ict-education-africa-ghana-country-report http://hdl.handle.net/10986/10708 English InfoDev ICT and Education Series CC BY 3.0 IGO http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/igo/ World Bank World Bank, Washington, DC Publications & Research :: Brief Publications & Research Africa Ghana |
